HOW TO WRITE YOUR BEST BOOK REPORT

A potentially boring topic is made interesting by step-by-step instructions. Nowwhere is the advice too involved; simple questions that the young reviewer answers are the secret, from book selection to writing the paper. A chapter on ""Easy Extras"" tells how to write to publishers or the author for more information or to praise a book. And a final chapter on giving an oral report may take the wobblies out of young knees. A good guide to preparation, organization and composition, only slightly marred by an excess of exclamation points and occasional grammatical gaffs.
