KIRKUS REVIEW

Ronnie, a visitor to Africa, is unjustly captured and imprisoned in a primitive native village in revenge for the death of a chief's son. Ronnie's kidnapping is a remarkable feat for he is hidden among a herd of bullocks and carried off by the huge animals. His escape is equally unique. With the help of a native boy, Ronnie is given an which attracts antelopes. Again, hidden by the herd, Ronnie is transported to safety clinging for dear life to the horns of his deliverers. A story that might conceivably happen is filled with legendary nuances and a good deal of suspense. This bears no special mark of Identification in Miss Coatsworth's record.
