The Corbett name is good for substantial sales -- this, however, as a group of long-short stories, is not likely to match her previous record. Four distinct stories, against the setting of a mid-western town, Mount Royal, at the turn of the century; a few characters recur, but the plots of the stories are independent, the one of the other, in much the same way as Katherine Brush's stories in Other Women.
