NINE DOCTORS AND A MADMAN

The background is intriguing -- a mental sanitarium, and plenty of herrings are dragged across the trail at the start. A much-hated man is killed, presumably by a madman -- and the story waxes and wanes while the powers that be, decide whether the madman is guilty -- or not. The atmosphere and the authenticity of the hospital setting are better than the mystery unravelling.
