POLKADOT

A pet deer tells her own story of her life on a Western ranch where she was as much at home on the rug in front of the fireplace as in the woods. Supposedly a true incident it would have been for more interesting told as a true story, for the deer's words and understanding are anything but deer-like. It is quite dull and has little to it in the eyes of children who have a prejudice against stories told in the first person.
