A FRIEND OF MARY ROSE

Blind, sighty three, and not happy with his daughter-in-law, Mr. Nicholas is temporarily famed out when his family moves, and is caught by the need to protect little, despised Mary Rose. The dangers to her and to him bring him into her family's affairs, into the life of the street he is leaving, and into a zone of violence his restricted has created. The proposition accepted, the suspense here is acceptable, local American.
