ILLUSTRATED BIBLE STORY

The Old Testament volume contains the stories of Joseph, Moses, Joshua, David; the New Testament divides the life of Christ into Early Life, Miracles, Parables, Later Life, and The Apostles. The editor has used some of the familiar text but simplified the context, without modernizing it unduly. The Milo Winters illustrations are nice, particularly in the Old Testament.
