KIRKUS REVIEW

This scarcely ranks as a novel, a 155 page Christmas story with an eleven-year old child as the central figure. Charming, but very slight, and with a motif reminiscent of the City of Dells. With Elizabeth Goudge's following, plus the appeal of any good Christmas tale, this should have a plus sale value as a gift book through the holidays. Don't sell it, however, as ""another Elizabeth Goudge romance.
