THE DEAN'S WATCH

Set in a small cathedral town in East Anglia, this is the story of two nineteenth century men who learn through their devotion to each other that Love is the key to Life. A painfully shy Dean and a tormented old clockmaker are the central figures here, but surrounding them are a host of others including children, who as always, are treated by the author, with a touch near to magic. A profoundly religious story, this should appeal to teen-agers with its warmth, tenderness and tasteful appeal.
