KIRKUS REVIEW

This is about the backstage areas of the English legitimate theatre which have little relevance over here. And it is marked by generalizations and oversimplifications such as ""Getting Rid of a Director"" in a few short paragraphs. It discusses the chain of command from the Assistant Stage Managers to the Administrators their functions and relationship to the productions; financing and how to get it all done in pounds which doesn't make much dollars and sense. Maybe ""It's a full life"" but this is a worthless little import.
