KIRKUS REVIEW

An adventure story against a semi-historical setting, involving the period of the French-Indian wars, the initial unrest leading to the Revolution, the struggle for the territory between Fort Pitt and Detroit. A lad, hunter with the scouts, snares adventures with an Irish boy, taken on as cook. Routine type of thing, not particularly important or significant.
