KIRKUS REVIEW

Three picture story books which, in days like these, are extraordinarily good. Thumbelina is newly translated by Paul Lyac and charmingly and delicately illustrated by Oscar Fabres.....Yussuf the Ostric has a distinctly modern parable quality which adults will appreciate, while the small fry will find the story hugely entertaining. Illustrated by the author.....The Magic Bd-Knob is more story and less pictures -- sub-titled How to be a Witc in Ten Easy Lessons. A fairy tale in modern guise, which might be better listed under BOOKS TO READ ALOUD, Almost another Mary Poppins, a beguiling yarn of enchantment, with unique twist. A very original tale....................All three books printed by Hyperion -- 4 pages in full color, well re-produced.
