This minisoule 4 x 4 thirty-two page gremlin of a book consists of a nonsense story in monotonous rhymes. Slackman's pictures, tiny as they are (reminiscent of newspaper plates of the 1890's) are poorly excuted; angry Kate is a red-faced monster-child in shapeless garb; other family members stand rigidly in the background, frowning, mouthing words, watching. It's very IN among new post-graduates to have this sort of thing on the cocktail table... For the sand table set, we suspect far less enthusiasm for the consciously precious.
