BIG SUSAN

This is a delectable story that- in simpler terms- recalls Floating Island (though without its peculiar magic). What little girl who loves a dolls house can resist this story of what happened when Susan forgot her friends, the Doll family, for six weeks, and discovered them again on Christmas Day, after all sorts of exciting things had happened to them. And through it all they never lost their faith in Susan. A beguiling book, with six illustrations in full color, 30 in two colors, just the kind of pictures that children love with all the important details.
