GERMAN COOKERY

In the International Cook Book Series, this is a representative collection of comestibles- and while perhaps not as popular a style of cooking in this country as the French or Italian, there are many dishes here for everyday or special occasions. From egg dishes to cakes and candies, this charts the courses- fish and fowl and so forth, and for the hand which has not fully acquired its skill- there are many recipes which are easy to follow and fulfill. This style of cooking is of course substantial- perhaps more for the hausfrau than the hostess.
