Group Health comes to a small town in Idaho when doctors Burke Wetherill and Jon Clagett go into partnership along with a young surgeon, Andrew Duke. But all is not togetherness: young Duke's managerial mother, who wants to give them a hospital, also runs interference when the girl she had wanted her son to marry chooses the widowed Clagett; then there's Burke who for a time drifts away from domesticity toward a young girl; etc. etc. None of this is any more astringent than Lavoris, and, like Medicare, it's designed to serve the senior citizens.
