Sonny-Boy Sim and his hound-dog Homer got more fun out of chasing animals than the animals did out of being chased. So one day the animals decided to get the better of the situation -- and might well have done so if Grandpappy's fiddle hadn't charmed them into making friends all round instead. Somewhat adult in approach but read aloud it seems to gather momentum as it goes.
