LITTLE MEN; LITTLE WOMEN; SHERLOCK HOLMES; KING ARTHUR AND HIS KNIGHTS; FIVE LITTLE PEPPERS

The illustrations in both Alcotts are very bad -- deliberately dated and unattractively so. The book of Sherlock Holmes stories contains seven of the best tales. King Arthur and his Knights is extremely successful -- the author has kept the prose and story development close to Malory, capturing the dramatic flavor. Lush colors in the color illustrations, but unfortunately the pictures are not distinguished and lack vitality. The deluxe edition features leather binding with gilt lettering and celluloid cover. These titles available in both editions. The twelve new titles appear now in the deluxe edition.
