LITTLE AMISH SCHOOLHOUSE

The story belongs with the younger age group, but the mechanical difficulties of the dialect of Lanoaster County, Pennsylvania, makes this more readily understood by children somewhat more advanced. Read aloud to 7 -- and 8-year olds; but 9 -- and 10-year olds will find it to their liking as well. A delightfully full picture of life among these people whose ways of thought and action are so different from ours. The tremendous success of Henner's Lydia two years ago should give a key to the possible market for this book. Good Americana.
