TIM THINKS OF SOMETHING

By

Pub Date: Sept. 15th, 1964
Publisher: Warne

This is the third title in Warne's ""Prettimouse"" series devoted to Tim, a young water rat whose genealogy seems to be Wind in the Willows by way of Uncle Wiggley. What Tim thinks of is using a little lost donkey to ride home on with his companions when their iceboat leaves them far up the frozen river during a heavy snow. The miniature book and the small, detailed pictures in color and black and white of the well-dressed water rats and their living arrangements make the sort of book children often find satisfying for personal ownership, even though adults may well find the story both weak and derivative.
