JAMIE AND THE DUMP TRUCK

This is a companion volume to Jamie and the Fire Engine and once again Jamie's ingenuity stretches the credulity of adults. Small motor enthusiasts, however, will identify themselves in imagination with Jamie (let's hope they don't try some of Jamie's experimental) and for them this book is a ""natural"". Dumpy was an old dump truck that was in the discard because it wouldn't dump even the load of sand that was in it. Jamie discovers the trouble, and comes to the rescue when the garage catches fire and only sad will put out the blaze. Pictures in three color and in black and white throughout the text. Stocking book -- board cover.
