KIRKUS REVIEW

On the first day of dancing school, Jessie's the first to be ready to leave but the last to be picked up--while her mother is seen coping with such unavoidable delays as a flat tire. Warmly affectionate illustrations, an apt text as abbreviated as the remarks of a shy child, and a blissful reunion make this an appealing treatment of a universal anxiety.
