MISS PICKERELL GOES UNDERSEA

Funny Miss Pickerell is back again with some fantastically believable activities which include skin diving, atomic submarines, underwater television, and all the complications which attend her latest project. News comes that her famous collection of Martian rocks has sunk on its return trip from a European exhibit. But the insurance company will not salvage the ship without taking the collection as its remuneration, so Miss Pickerell secures her own salvagers and does the job herself. She has connections with a sailor on an atomic sub; his father, a photographer, takes pictures of the operation which closes when Miss Pickerell is honored and squared with the insurance people. Miss Pickerell, with her amazing, amusing adventures, is a favorite character and her wishbones are also funny-bones for this age level.
