THE RUNAWAY ELEPHANT

Another jolly Hezekiah Horton adventure, this time with elephants. Hezekiah is again invited by his reporter friend in the big red automobile for a ride, and has a wonderful idea how to catch big Modoc, the run-away elephant, from the Dolly Brothers' Circus. In no time at all mysterious Mr. Smith is on his way to the wilds of Westchester armed with bread and peanuts. And Hezekiah sees the reunion of two friends, has a fine reward and a story in the papers and Mr. Ed gets his story. Based on an actual news story, this is a delightful, appealing story.
