THE FOURTH SIDE OF THE TRIANGLE

Ellery Queen thinks up the kind of problem which only Ellery Queen can handle-- perhaps a question of sovereign domain? Here even the new math and certainly no symbolic logic will solve the equation which goes like this. A father, mother and a son, all involved in the life and death of a young woman, are the ABC of a triangle but X is the unknown factor in a case which is finally worked out through letters, not numbers. Quintessentially Queen.
