MURDER ON THE LEFT BANK

Another of Homer Evans' exploits which takes in post-war Paris, a family out to learn the truth about their son's oral will, and a well-planned financial deal. Young Megan Mallory, after alerting by one Lt. Kitchel, a friend of her dead mother, heads-on into Paris with all her 17 years a-flame: Evans ties in her father's private eye, two brothers, Rockport, Mass., vanishing witnesses, and ex-GI's, and adds it all up to satisfactory -- and flair-wise conclusions. Them thar Hugger-Mugger fans ought to line up for this.
