PIG-O-WEE

There's a folksy homespun quality about Ellis Credle's work, both stories and pictures, that pulls it out of the average rut. Here's another poor white story of the vain efforts to sell a pig that would not get fat, and of how that pig (nature was contradictory to be sure) supplied the need. Not up to her best work, but at that good American folk tale.
