KIRKUS REVIEW

An archaeological dig in Greece produces golden treasure -- and murder, for which 15 year old Crispin, with no evidence to prove his father's death, becomes the trap to catch the killer in England. His closed secret life is penetrated by his new tutor --once jilted by Crispin's mother -- who joins him in his efforts which nearly fail when the murderer traps them in a local cave. Lack of belief in the ""villain"" is the only criticism in a literate and original piece of work.
