KIRKUS REVIEW

A collection of curiona which will improve your incidental intelligence on a variety of subjects; history; natural history; places; people, famous firsts; accomplishments; etc. The unionization of the Electric Eel, the derivation of the word dunce; the firefly's secret of cold light, the youngest maternity on record- aged 7, the entire litter of 18 newborn opossums which can be placed in a teaspoon, etc. etc. make up a catchy, sketchy miscellany of assorted points of interest. An excursion in serendipity, but it's the market here which seems strange to us.
