An offering of thirty-three psalms presented with moody charcoal drawings of people in B.C. dress. A brief introduction points out their poetic character, specifies some of the difficulties of translation, also provides a comparison between the King James and Jerusalem versions of Psalm 23. The selection of familiar lyrics (according to the King James version) favors hymus of joy and praise over those expressing rebuke or vengeance; the appearance, however, is forbidding.
