This is a sure seller -- companion volume to last year's favorite Ezekiel. In a sense less spontaneous in humor and story, although there is more definite story sense in the episodes in which Ezekiel, sometimes alone with his dog, sometimes with his sisters, sees his small world. There is the visit to southern Florida and the ""big ditch""! there is the fish fry, there is the expedition in search of turtle eggs, there is the trip to the turpentine still (and the adventure with the rattlesnake), there is the loss of the tooth at church meeting. Better mechanical format -- pictures are larger, though still part of text (a popular feature) and the text is more readable.
