KIRKUS REVIEW

For the beginner who has serious interest in the subject. It covers, in brief, matter-of-fact statements, descriptions of the various necessary tools, hand and machine, how to use them, sharpen them, keep them in good condition. No inspirational methods for making anyone want to go further, since this takes for granted an existing consuming passion for the pursuit of doing things with wood. No projects for workroom or classroom, merely a how-to-use the tools of the trade. Limited appeal.
