S'INGINOCCHI LA PIU PICCINA: Kneel, Littlest One

An intimate picture of the great composer, Mascangni, by his young daughter. This is the record of one year in Paris spent with her father, and is particularly delightful in that the man and their life together are portrayed through the eyes of a fifteen year old girl. As a close friend of d'Annunzio, exiled in Paris at time, there are sketches of the famous writer as well as those of her father. Everyday events -- anecdotes -- mostly personal -- they are nonetheless engaging reading.
