ART METAL WORK

Excellent how-to-do-book, with quantities of designs and patterns, which should make it valuable for the teacher or director, as well as for the student or operator. Front matter consists of text and illustrations on tools and equipment, on preparation of stock, on cutting, annealing and heating, pickling. Then comes a section on ""Tools and metal working processes"" which consists of a page of procedure, with a diagram opposite, through many pages. Next Projects with processes, again with descriptive text and accompanying diagrams. Next section, Sketches of projects, page after page, with no text, other than captions accompanying pictures. Finally Finishes on metals. Last part of the book contains a glossary of terms, a list of dealers, a bibliography and an index. A must book for school shops where art metal work is taught, such as schools of occupational therapy, craft shops, etc.
