HIGH OF HEART

Emilie Loring can be counted on for substantial rentals and for circulation figures in public libraries. She writes what might be termed ""good trash"". This is not Loring at her best, but it will rent. Con, foster child of the Coreys, is in love with the son of the family. Her English grandfather sends for her -- to decide between her and another possible heir. The other claimant plots a kidnapping -- and the complications grow space. Peter to the rescue -- and eventually he gets the girl and she gets the inheritance. Coincidence plus -- extravagance plus -- total minus.
