LOVE CAME LAUGHING BY

Mystery, adventure and romance in a typical Emilie Loring story, this concerns Wendy Adair who escapes from a South American revolution with some secret papers entrusted to her by Steve Graham for delivery in Washington. She meets Vance Tyler, a young congressman who helps her and proceeds to fall in love with her. Lots of intrigue- people following Wendy both while she has the papers and after she has rid herself of them, suspicious South Americans, scheming females, a sinister butler, rumors of jewels and films smuggled out of South America, and so on. Everything is duly straightened out in the end including Wendy and Vance's romance. Light touch for predictable audience.
