A CANDLE IN HER HEART

A minimal mystery-romance finds Douglas Clayton, presumably missing and read in Korea, returning to his home town with a new identity and a new face. He goes to work as a chemist in his old family firm now taken over by another man, orliss Blake, with a lovely daughter, Leslie. But there is something wrong with The Company-- there's a burglary at the laboratory along with an information leakage, all of which is to be straightened out before Douglas can declare himself as well as his love for Leslie... A tired story in barbiturate prose.
