There's not the hoydenish quality of When Our Hearts Were Young and Gay but it is lots of fun -- this story of Emily Kimbrough and Cornelia Otis Skinner adventuring -- and misadventuring -- in Hollywood. They meet celebrities, often disastrously, they learn something about making pictures, they do their job but fail to recognize the outcome. Things happen to them, individually and collectively, from the false start on the train, to the finale.
