KIRKUS REVIEW

This reads the way a travelogue sounds, ""Rounding the northeast corner of--"", ""North through Kashmiri Gate"", etc. It is not so much that the book lacks information both current and historic, it is that too much description and factual material is jumbled together in sections like the city itself. It all flashes past at the same speed, with the same detached tone maintained throughout.
