A PRESENT FOR AUNTIE

A primer with a story that will tickle the youngest readers' funnybones. Some may feel that Emma Brock has made it an amusing story and ignored (mercifully) all chance of making it a moral tale. Others will feel that John gets away with his selfish choice of his auntie's present too easily, as he samples the colors in the crayons, licks the chocolate rabbit, breaks the bubble pipe, and ends by securing a ten cent whistle which he promises to loan her when she needs it.
