THE LONGER THE THREAD

When the Slax company in its Puerto Rican manifestation is floored by the return of thousands of white slacks with a bleeding blue thread, sabotage is suspected. But when a Puerto Rican worker and the owner of the company are murdered after other spanners are cast in the works, company executives and police base their sleuthing on Puerto Rican nationalist ferment. Thatcher from Sloan Guarantee brings in the cooler head. Drippy-dry and certainly not her best.
