READ REVIEW

THE SEVENTEEN BOOK OF YOUNG LIVING

This is a balanced, readable, well-rounded book. It is infectiously enthusiastic and stimulating -- and it doesn't pontificate. Enid A. Haupt has had opportunity to learn the interests and problems of teen-agers as editor-publisher of Seventeen. In a tone of friendly guidance she gives sensible suggestions to help girls in their teens in wardrobe selection, room decoration, social customs and correspondence. She does not neglect the inner woman for she includes a categorized reading list suitable for teens and explores occupational possibilities. Family relationships are discussed understandingly. Thin-skinned teens should like the exceptionally readable style as well as the unpatronizing approach.
