KIRKUS REVIEW

A drama of revolution and political terrorism moves with the times to the Far East where ideas as well as lives are armed. Steven Fraser hopes to leave the Netherlands East Indies but is trapped in Selampang by a local revolution. He bargains for his own security, and that of the Eurasian Ronalie, but their love has no future and Steve is summarily cleared out of the country alone. Not as sinister as his earlier chimeras, but an assured adventure tale.
