THREE AGAINST THE WILDERNESS

An account of thirty years in the wilderness of the Chicotin District of British Columbia. The author and his wife came from in England in 1920, and subsequently obtained sole trapping rights to an area of over 150,000 acres of wilderness. Their ordeals and particularly the sections dealing with the rebuilding of dams, lakes streams for the encouragement of a nearly extinct beaver population make this a valuable addition to the wildlife lore of North America.
