Likable foolery concerning the romance of Kathleen and Johney, with a more serious note anent the social philosophy, to remove it -- slightly -- from the straight farce of some of his earlier books. Kathleen has lost her job, but an ""adopted"" uncle, gentleman of fortune, plays deus ex machina, guides her through Florida social antics, and does his bit when Johney, wealthy playboy who has given her a rush disappears. He is found -- the engagement goes through per schedule -- and then preoccupation with business almost smashes things again when Johnsy is recalled to the factory. Once again Mansley turns the trick. Not hard on the grey matter. Rentals.
