KIRKUS REVIEW

Reintroducing that mischievous prankster, (Eulenspiegel) Till Owlglass, in eleven scapegrace adventures. These are definitely aimed at the younger reader, and could be read to those below this age level. Nicely retold for the most part, save for an occasional stiffness. The pictures, on the other hand, more than make up for this. They are in about eight colors -- gay -- a little caricatured -- with lovely color tones. An exceptionally engaging book and quite remarkable at the price.
