SUNHELMET SUE

Her most finished story from the viewpoint of plot, dialogue, and so on -- combining with that the West African setting she known from personal experience. It's a grand job, an original story, and charmingly illustrated. My one criticism is that both jacket and title give an impression of a younger appeal than the actual text. The vocational slant is an important factor -- anthropology and archaeology this time.
