KIRKUS REVIEW

Perry Mason, on vacation, lands in legal wrangles and tangles over the killing of a wealthy, lecherous playboy and in trying to protect an innocent girl and her apprehensive mother manages to work out a correct interpretation of circumstantial evidence. Outdistancing a local gang-up, Mason's way with courtroom tactics and opportunities ties a conviction on the guilty one. Another cards off the table sleuthing.
