THE CASE OF THE BAITED HOOK

A good Perry Mason yarn, with the expected attention-getting devices, this one provides another bizarre case in which Perry forces issues, to the point of a simulated murder, to get the results he wants. Retained by an architect and a masked woman, for a vaguely possible case, and also retained to protect an illegally adopted plan, plunked into a murder. Perry moves fast to outmanoeuvre his opponents, and to pin the blame on the guilty. Dexterous -- but keep your eyes open.
