KIRKUS REVIEW

From Norway to the South Seas, across the Atlantic and Pacific, through the canal -- four years sailing, on an old vessel, with no instruments, with a wife, a dog, and in process of time, two children, Hats off to the wife! An engaging story of mishaps, phenomenal luck, delightful candor, Storms, wrecks, everything seemed combined to foil his plans, but they make grand reading. The book is written to buy another boat, since the ""Teddy"" was completely wrecked and the family stranded. All hands to the ropes and let's give him a start. It should be an easy book to sell.
